Our Weekend

It was so nice outside on Saturday, we spent the day working in our yard. It is something that we do about every 2 years since we keep moving. I am about sick of tunneling under sidewalks for sprinkler lines and raking rocks, but I know that the quicker we get it finished the more time we can spend outside. I love having grass and flowers and all thing that go into a yard I guess I just need to be patient until we get to that point.

The kids were so excited that we weere going to plant some trees. Madison informed me that we were making the air better for all of us by planting a tree becasue trees produce oxygen, I am always amazed at her knowledge. My only hesitation is that the last time we planted a tree we sold our house 2 weeks later.

My Boy

C.J. is getting so much older all the time. He now tells me that he is not a baby anymore and that he is a big boy. He is potty trained and all, but he will always be my baby. Here are a few pictures of him that I took the other day, he is such a fun boy!

Oh SHOOT!

Last Friday we went up in the hills and shot clay pidgions. I have not been shooting for a long time, and I don't think that our kids have ever been. Aside from freezing it was a lot of fun. Trevor and Alissa came with us and they brought the J. Thalman boys with them. It was so cute to see all three of them walk up each carrying their own gun. Fun was had by all. The guys did a great job of actually hitting the clay pidgions. As for me I just closed my eyes and pulled the trigger while bracing my body for the kick of the gun. You may notice that our kids aren't in the pictures that is because it was too cold and too loud for them.

Arts Festtival

This year for the PTO Arts Festival the theme was I Wonder... Madison entered in two categories, writing and photography. She got a First place ribbon for each of these. Her picture was of some horses running in a field by our house, the title was 'I wonder what it feels like to be a horse running through a field'. Her writing was titled 'I wonders what's over the Rainbow' here is what she wrote...
I Wonder what's over the Rainbow
I wonder what's over the rainbow could it be a leprechaun, a pot of gold, a unicorn, or would it be magical creatures. i wonder if you could slide down a rainbow. Slide down beautiful colors like red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange, or blue. I wonder if you could go inside a rainbow, could you, would you, go inside a rainbow? I wonder if I could see a rainbow out my window on a cold rainy night. I wonder...
She had a great time getting these things ready for the arts festival. Great job Mad!

My tooth is kind of wiggily

Emma kept telling me that here tooth was loose and I was like sure it is... well she was right this top picture is of her showing me in fact her tooth was loose, I just kept thinking that she was way to young, but Madison was the same age when she lost her first one. Anyway and is a picture of her 10 days later.

Yesterday we were over at our neighbors house and Emma came upstairs from playing and there was blood on her hands and on her mouth and she just said my tooth came out. That was it no crying or worrying just her tooth was out and that was that. She said that she got hit in the mouth with a pillow and her tooth just popped out. We never did find her tooth, but the Tooth Fairy still found her last night and left a note and $1. She has been so excited at telling everyone. Now the question I am constantly getting from her is "can I eat this if I have a loosed tooth?" Congratulations Emma! She also has another loose tooth...

Thanks Tooth Fairy!

I'm a BIG kid now!

C.J. is offically potty trained! For him it was very easy. We bought some Cars pull-ups and said "don't get Lightening wet or he will be so sad. That was all it took he only got his "lightenings" wet once in a week so we moved on to underwear and of course they have Lightening on them as well. He has done great and I am so glad that we don't have to buy diapers anymore. Now we just need to teach him how to stand up to go #1, but it is kind of hard when the top of the toilet comes up to your belly button. Great job C.J. you made it so easy for us!
