Swimming

Emma started swimming lessons this week, and she has loved them. I was a little nervous at first because I didn't know how she would do, but she has loved it. She likes to talk to the fish and find the toys in the water. I am also hoping that it will help with some of the flexibility in her hips, she is still a little stiff, but is doing better all the time.
It has also been fun to watch Madison and C.J. at the pool. I think this is the first time that they have been on the watching end of things. They will sit by the side of the pool and encourage and complement her, it is great to see the support they have for each other at such a young age, I hope that it will last forever.

Well, C.J. figured out how to climb in and out of his crib. I put him down for a nap and about 15 minutes later he was standing outside his door with a huge smile on his face. When he saw the disapproval on my face he ran back into his room. He would then peek out of his door every few minutes and I would tell him to go have a nap. After he quit looking out of his door I went to check on him, and he was sound a sleep in his crib. That evening when Tom I got home I told him what C.J. had done and so Tom told C.J. to show us how he did it, these are some of the pictures I got of him, and I have to say that I am very impressed at his flexibility, he gets that from me. So if anyone has any suggestions about how to keep him in his crib or if we should put him in a real bed I would love to hear them.

A Warm Spring Day!

Sunday was a beautiful day! After church we went out in the backyard and just sat, it was great. The kids were playing on the swing set, and of course C.J. had a bat and a ball. It was so fun to see them play, I just love warm spring days !

These are words that come out of C.J.'s mouth about a 100 times a day, and I know that I should be a good mom and let him take all the time he need to do things himself, but I can drive me crazy. Here is an example, I was getting C.J. dressed and he found the Cars underwear that we bought for him (we found it at the Disney store and thought maybe he would think about using the potty, we were wrong, he won't even sit on the potty) so he had to put the underwear on, and would not let anyone help him. So he tried standing up and would hold onto his foot and try to direct it into the correct hole, and had some success, it was getting the second foot in the correct hole that proved to be the problem. When he finally got them on(with both legs in one hole and completely sideways) he was ready to go, and pretty much had to force him to put his pants on, and when He finally decided that he would put them on, I heard again iwannadoit MY SELF! What a boy, good thing he is so cute!
