Cute Kids!

There is this old metal shed that I have wanted to use as a backdrop for some pictures of my kids, I think they truned out pretty cute!

Emma's 5th B-day Party

Emma had her very first friend birthday party this year, call me a slacker, but she never seemed to mind. So she had six of her friends come over for a unicorn/pajama party (thats what you get when you let them decide the theme) she had such a great time, and considering most of her gifts included something related to horses or ponies she was a very happy girl. They all enjoyed making crafts and eating cupcakes and ice cream. I still can't believe that she is 5!

Happy New Year!

I just love this time of year it seems like you have a chance to start over and do better in the new year. This year (i guess it was last year) we decided to have a new years party. It was filled with games, good food, and guitar hero. Everyone that came took their chance to battle on the guitar including my parents and Tom's parents, I am pretty sure that they were all better than I was the first time that I played. I had to take some pictues for proof. We had fun night and ended up spending the first three hours of 2009 playing this game, I am not and expert by any means, but we can pass all the songs on easy level, so we are getting there! Happy 2009 I am excited to see what this new year has to bring!

Happy Birthday Emma!

I say this with every birthday, but I cannot believe that she is this old, EMMA is 5! I don't know where the time has gone, it seems like she was just barely the new years baby and here it is 5 years later! She had a fun day we went to eat at McDonalds for dinner(emma's choice) and then went to the movie Bedtime Stories. She got a little restless during the movie, but says that her favorite part was the raining gumballs, it was a pretty cute movie. On Monday she got to celebrate her birthday with Grandpa Jeff (his b-day is on the 30th) and she chose the same horse cake as the past two year, I guess she knows what she likes! Happy Birthday Emma, We love you so much!

MeRrY ChRiStMaS!

Our Visit to Santa on Main Street. C.J. kept saying that Santa was scarry, but he ended up being the first one to sit on his lap. When Santa asked him what he wanted he listed all of the names of the cars from the movie CARS, santa looked at him and said oh..would you like a train, C.J. looked totally insulted and yelled, NO I WANT CARS. he got down from santas knee after that. The girls rattled off their lists and we were finished! Thanks Santa, we love you!
The next picture is of our Nativity program on Christmas Eve, as you can tell the Shepherd and sheep got a little tired and decided to take a rest after their long journey from the hallway into the family room!

These next two pictures are of Christmas pajamas and walking up the stairs on Christmas morning, from youngest to oldest as it should be, (Madison actaully snuck up prior to this picture so when we told her that Santa didn't make it our house she knew that we were tricking) Merry Christmas to all!

This is just a glimpse of C.J.'s birthday. We had a Cars cake and ice cream and that night we went to the movie Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, he loved the movie, and it was a great family day. He walked around all day singing "happy birthday to me" it was so funny. The next night after dinner he was ready to eat cake and open presents again, it only happens once a year buddy!

Pretty Girls

Here are a few pictures that I took of Emma and Madison this weekend, they are just on our front porch, but I thought they turned out so cute!
