Dance baby Dance
Last night the girls and I went to a dance workshop by Ririe Woodbury Dance Company. We had a great time. It was creative dance, they learned about movement, space, energy and creativity that comes through movement. There were a lot of kids there with their parents and everyone got in on the fun. It was fun to spend time together and get some wiggles out.
Snow Day!
This is what we woke up to Saturday morning about 7 inches of heavy wet snow. Tom and the girls were excited C.J. and I not so much. I had been so glad on Friday to see that the rain had melted most of the snow. This is a picture of C.J.'s bike in the snow he was sure that it was stuck forever.
Madison and Emma went with Tom to plow driveways and sidewalks so the boy and I tried to stay entertained indoors. C.J. found his sticky man and kept throwing it on the ceiling and watching it fall down. In this particular pic the sticky mad decided to stay where he was and C.J. was sure if he held Emma's boot up long enough he would fall right into it, didn't happen, in fact I think he is still stuck on the ceiling 3 days later. He is such a funny boy
Arts Festival
Emma participated in the Arts Festival at her school she was so excited to see that she had won some ribbons. I love the pictures of horses that she took. She got a second place ribbon with that along with construction paper and a paint set. She also got 2 third place ribbons for her drawing of a zebra (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Bogh for the drawing books, she can now draw about any animal she wants) she also did a painting of some of her favorite things to eat. She is such a crafty girl she is always making or drawing something and when she grows up she wants to be an artist.
Hello baby
So here are a few ultrasound pictures that I have been meaning to post for a long time. It is just starting to hit me that in just a few weeks were are going to have a baby at our house. That little ticker on our blog freaks me out a little, I think that it skips like 3 days every time I look at it. I all actuality my dr. is hoping that I will make it to 36 week, that is only 3 weeks away (yikes), I am hoping for at least 37. I hope these headache inducing drugs that i am no will continue to keep this baby on the inside. In the picture above there are some tale tale signs that she is our baby, I just love that profile pic, that was taken at 13 weeks, the one with the scrunched nose and lips is almost identical to one we have of Madison, and the toes, yes, she has very long toes, when our kids saw this pictures they thought it was her hand, but no all of us have long toes and the second one is longer than the first. It is fun to see characteristics like this that help you know it truly is your baby.
So most of the time I am looking for a new craft project, most of the time it includes paper. I love paper, everything about it is fun for me, well since I have been pregnant I have been the opposite I don't think that I have made one scrapbook page, that is totally not like me. However, the past few weeks I have had this desire to sew, I don't sew, I hadn't used my sewing machine on fabric in months, but I found to cutest patten to make baby shoes, and decided to give it a try I also made some spit-up rags and I have a few more ideas of thing I would like to make, so we will see if that happens before that baby comes.

Pro at 6
Emma is a pro when it come to surgery, I know pretty sad but at least she wasn't scared, she left that up to me. This was just a minor surgery to put tubes in her ears. After having 4 ear infections in 3 months we decided to just have the tubes placed and be done with it. It was pretty funny she was just talking to the nurses as the wheeled her away on the bed like it was no big deal. After she woke up she told me that her tubes were white and the "other girl" had tubes with blue stripes on them. I am pretty sure the medication had some effect on what she saw. She was a trooper and went to dance class that evening, so I guess we all have some special profession.

18 months
We have spent the past few weeks getting ready to say goodbye to my parents as they prepared to go on their mission, today was the day. They entered the MTC this morning, and thanks to technology we have already heard from them and they are doing great. I had to put the above picture in so that I can use it as a reference to see how much our kids will change in 18 months.
This is a picture that I should have posted a while ago. This is the night they opened their call and the look on both of their faces says it all, I think if you could see the rest of us our expressions would have been very similar.
Last weekend we were able to attend the temple together. It was one of those rare special experiences that I will never forget. There is nothing like spending time in the temple with all of your siblings and your parents.
People keep telling me that 18 months will go by so fast, at this point it seems like a very long time, but I couldn't be happier for my parents, they are amazing people and I know the experiences they have will change them forever, what a blessing!
