What's up!

So now that you are updated on Allie what have the other kids been doing? This pictures is of the them in their non-Easter Sunday clothes (since we had conference on Easter) aren't they just so cute!
Madison: She is busy as usual with dance, piano, and gymnastics. She is also loving Activity Days. She has the cutest leaders and they do such fun things. This past week they did a talent show for their mom's it was so fun. Madison played 2 songs on the piano and did a great job. It was really good for her to conquer some of her fear of being in the spotlight. She also just lost her 11th tooth (3rd on in the past month) She was excited because it was a molar that had a filling in it so she was glad the have the "metal" out of her mouth. She has been such a good helper with her siblings while we adjust to having a new baby. She loves to hold Allie and make sure that she is OK.

Emma: She is always busy with something wether it is playing cars and horses with C.J., coloring, singing in the bathroom, or running around outside she is always busy. She has turned into such a great reader this year and loves to read and spell words. She is also working hard on her math facts. She seems to have a new loose tooth everyday and can't wait for them to fall out. She loves baby Allie, sometimes a little too much but inspite of the fact that she wanted a baby brother, she loves her little sister.

C.J.: He is busy as well. He loves preschool, but it ready for it to be over because if you ask him he never has enough time to play. He recently earned the achievement of "Cookie" and "Candybar" clubs in preschool because he knows all of the uppercase and lower case letters in the alphabet. Now he is working on the sounds of each letter so the he can be in the "Soda pop" club. He is a very smart boy, sometimes to smart for his own good. As far as Allie goes he loves her and likes to know where she is at all times, will hold her for a nono second and then move on to something else. He asked me the other day while I was feeding her why I hold her so much. I told him that babies need alot of love, so he told me in his wisdom that I just needed to give her 50 kisses and put her down so that we could play cars.

3 weeks

I can't believe that Allie is three weeks old already, where does the time go? There are a few things that are now fresh is my mind about having a newborn that I may have forgotten...
How often they need their fingernails clipped
The amount of dirty laundry they can produce in a day
The feeling that I may never sleep through the night again
Slippery when wet
The grunting noise they make in their sleep
Their constantly changing facial expressions
The gassy grins that make it all worth it.

Allie has changed a lot in 3 weeks, she is gaining weight and filling out her chubby cheeks, she is awake a lot more, and her hair is getting lighter in color. Having a new baby has been an adjustment to say the least, but worth it in every way!

Allie

Here are just a few more pictures because she is just so cute and sweet.

Feeling Blessed

There are few moments in this life when you feel the overwhelming love from Heavenly Father. We were so blessed to experience this...
On Wednesday April 7th 2010 at 10:17 A.M. we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl!

Introducing Allie Lynn Bogh
I imagine that only moments before this picture was taken she was in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father sharing a moment that as parents we cherish with our children. The spirit that radiates from this sweet baby is beyond words are we are so blessed to have her in our home to share this special part of her life. I feel truly blessed to be a mother for the forth time. I feel overwhelming love for our sweet Allie as well as her brother and sister. Words cannot express my gratitude for her.
She came very quickly after about 2.5 hours of labor she was here weighing 6 pounds 10 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long. The best part was that she came
out screaming and didn't stop for a while, which was very reassuring for us. We are home and loving every minute we spend with her.

She already has her dad wrapped around her tiny finger.

Our family of SIX! The kids are so in love with their baby.

This beautiful face is the reason I don't get anything done. I just sit and hold her for hours, not wanting to miss anything. She is beautiful and healthy and so very loved.

Still waiting

We are still waiting for our new baby to come. I have to say that I am ready. I have never been this pregnant in my life, so this is a new experience for me. I can say that I am done being pregnant and ready for the baby to come. Most of my reasons are purely selfish. I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore, I can't wait to see what she looks like, I can't wait to hold her in my arms, to kiss her cheeks and tiny toes, and to smell that new baby scent. I am so excited to see her with her dad and with her sisters and brother, to see their reaction to her and watch them fall in love with her. Most of all I can't wait to have her amazing spirit in our home, there is nothing like it. So call me selfish but I am ready to have this sweet baby.

Easter Egg Hunt

On Monday we had an Easter Egg hunt with my family. Look at all these cute kids. They were so excited to run out back and fill their baskets, but of course we had to get a picture first. If you look close you will see that none of the kids are crying and they actually arranged themselves on the couch. I think that they must know they don't have a chance of getting out of pictures when there are 5 moms standing there with camera in hand so they better sit still and smile.

The gazebo is a great place to enjoy some of the Easter treats.

We had a great time searching for candy and spending time with family
